Music from Solar-Powered Piano and Recycled Materials

Sustainability and Music go hand in hand, in the summer, or during the festive December season. Folks in greater Vancouver had a good time playing a giant street piano running off renewable energy. They also became part of a human carillon, and formed percussion-playing groups. Even the mayor of Richmond and at least one member of city council jumped on the keyboard.

Solar Power Road Show organized musical games and other activities at Kidsake Day. Thanks to the volunteers, crew, and organizers of Kids Sake Day for putting together a wonderful event just outside Vancouver, BC.

Solar Power Road Show is an association of educators and entertainers committed to a better world for future generations. Kids have been taught to create super-cool music and special effects from recycled materials.
